Steve Waterman, Alan Barnes and Alun Vaughan host a unique residential jazz weekend focusing on performing contemporary and swing big band and ensemble music.

We are inviting intermediate to advanced players of trumpet, trombone, sax, bass, piano, guitar, drums and percussion to join us in a series of tutorials and workshops covering ensemble, improvisation and sectional playing.

It’s an ideal forum for those who are teaching (or want to teach) in the jazz idiom either in the classroom or in a big band setting.

The weekend is residential, though day bookings are accepted in some cases. Non-playing partners are welcome.

Complete the Booking_Form_2012.pdf, and send it, with either £50.00 deposit, or the full amount of £330.00 (or £305.00 for returners) as soon as possible to reserve your seat. Please note that PAYPAL fees of £9:50 will be added to the total costs if choosing to pay via PAYPAL. This amount is included in the PAYPAL transaction.

Places are reserved on a first come first served basis, and will be confirmed in writing on receipt of your Booking_Form_2012.pdf and payment.

The balance will be due by January 31st 2012

Personal Tuition

Steve Waterman, Alan Barnes and Alan Vaughan (bass/rhythm section) are available for one to one tuition sessions on the Thursday before the weekend starts, and Friday (a.m. only). If you would like to book, please email us.
