Steve Waterman will be giving one-to-one sessions for those who would like to take part. Costs for the sessions and an extra nights accommodation and meals will be posted shortly. If you are interested in the individual sessions please email us here .
An informal meet & greet on Friday will be followed by the first big band session followed by dinner and a "Jazz Club Style" Jam session.
Saturday's full day course starts after breakfast at 10.00am where you will be guided through some exciting big band arrangements, ensemble playing and improvisation techniques. Following lunch, the afternoon session will focus on ensemble playing and improvisation sessions by Steve Waterman and Alan Barnes.
Then after the afternoon coffee and refreshment break, there will be a further big band session until 7.30pm, followed by a well earned dinner!
Saturday Night Jam Session
At about 9.30pm, Steve Waterman and Alan Barnes will be playing a set with the hotel's resident pianist, Aled Rees, and members of the jazz weekend's rhythm section. You will have an opportunity to play alongside Steve and Alan - so don't forget to bring your favourite charts!

You may of course bring your partner to enjoy the weekend, join in the catering and hotel facilities, but they will not be able to take part in the tuition sessions.

Steve Waterman will be playing a set with Aled on Saturday night for your enjoyment, and should you wish, you can play alongside Steve to complete your musical experience on what will be a great musical weekend.
